
Professor Laurie Tomlinson
Professor Laurie Tomlinson is an NIHR Research Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a former consultant nephrologist.
Her research focuses on using real-world evidence to address gaps in clinical care, with particular expertise in drug safety, prescribing, and kidney disease. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a leading role in the OpenSafely collaboration, helping to inform national policy through large-scale data analysis.
Laurie is passionate about challenging conventional thinking, supporting the next generation of health leaders, and advancing evidence to improve patient outcomes.
