Alwyn Abraham

Alwyn Abraham is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester, where he has worked since 2007. He is a medical educationalist, senior healthcare leader, and Chair-Elect of World Orthopaedic Concern.

Alwyn has led large multidisciplinary teams, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, and is widely respected for his values-based, compassionate leadership. He has also played a key role in developing trauma services in Ethiopia and is deeply committed to training, feedback cultures, and developing future clinical leaders.
