Dame Yvonne Doyle

Dame Yvonne Doyle is one of the UK’s most experienced public health leaders, with a career spanning senior roles across the NHS, government, academia, the independent sector and international health.

She provided leadership for health protection in England during the COVID-19 pandemic, served as Medical Director for Public Health at NHS England, and was Statutory Adviser to consecutive Mayors of London.

Yvonne is currently a Senior Adviser to WHO Europe on healthy ageing, a Trustee of The King’s Fund and Pathway, and Chair of the Health Services Committee at the UK Faculty of Public Health. She also undertakes academic masterclasses, teaching, examining and international lecturing.

Her work continues to focus on public health, population health, healthy ageing and strengthening public health expertise within health systems.
